Quick explanation of Nadi Shodana - Alternate Nostril Breathing / how to / what is it and what is the benefit of performing the breathwork.

Nadi Shodana is a breathing technique that give benefits mentally and physically. I learn about Nadi Shodana while attending yoga teaching training course in August of 2020.
I immediately fell in love with the breathwork technique.
The breathwork Nadi Shodana can help balance your prana energy within your body by redirecting the air flow in and out using both nostril to regulate the air around our breathing network.
Nadi means channel and Shodana mean cleansing.
Together it means to perform a cleansing of our breathing channel.
What does each nostril symbolize?
Right Nostril:
1 ) Related to our sympathetic part of our brain (Fight or Flight)
2 ) Can also help energize, keep us in an active and alert state of mind.
3 ) Also known as the (Sun) Surya Nadi - Pingala Nadi

Left Nostril:
1 ) Related to our parasympathetic part of the brain (Rest and Repair)
2 ) Will allow you to feel relax and calms you down. Also helps slow down the heart rate
3 ) Also known as the (Moon) Chandra Nadi - Ida Nadi
